Appetizers

Onion Wedges
Tempura battered wedges of onions with a hint of jalapeno deep fried golden brown and serve with honey mustard dip.

Stuffed Yorkshire
A fresh Yorkshire pudding split in half and stuffed with fresh shaved roast beef, sautéed with mushrooms, tomatoes, onions, and peppers served with fresh jus on the side for dipping.

Seafood Medley
Prawns, scallops and baby shrimp with finely chopped onions cooked in a garlic white wine cream sauce. A true fan favourite here.

Escargot
Six jumbo escargot sautéed with tomatoes, onions and mushrooms and drenched in garlic butter.

Garlic Prawns
Our fresh prawns cooked with fresh garlic, peppers, green onions and tomatoes, deglazed with white wine.

Lobster Bites
Lobster meat over freshly sautéed mushroom caps baked with our special cheese blend with a special dip in the center.

Giant Shrimp Cocktail
Our freshly chilled prawns served with lemon wedge and our own cocktail dip.

Calamari
Half a pound of tender baby calamari, coated and fried lightly served with our special home-made tzatziki sauce and topped with fresh sweet red onion slivers.

Coconut Shrimp
Our special jumbo prawns breaded and rolled in coconut and panko breading, and fried golden brown. Served with our own home made coconut marmalade dip.

Seafood Chowder
Our creamy and hearty chowder with our special fresh seafood medley.

Baked French Onion
Freshly sautéed onions in a rich beef broth with fresh croutons and melted Swiss cheese.

Ask your server what the chef has freshly prepared today.

Greek Salad
Peppers, red onions, Kalamata olives cucumbers, tomatoes and feta tossed in our special Greek Vinaigrette and poured over fresh cut Romaine. Add a charbroiled or Cajun chicken breast.

Seafood Ceaser
Our special Ceaser Salad topped with a medley of crab, baby shrimps and lobster.

Side Coyote's Greens
Our fresh garden mixed greens topped with our grated cheese blend. Try it with our Oregano and Sun-dried tomato Vinaigrette.


About Our Steaks
We are part of an elite group of restaurants that serve Certified Angus Premium Beef. Certified Angus Beef is the beef for those with a discriminating palate. Our beef gets its unique flavour from what is known as “Marbling”- the fat within the muscle. Fewer than 8% of all cattle processed in Canada will qualify for Certified Angus Marbling. This makes for the juiciest, tastiest and most tender steak you’ll try.


Grilled to Perfection

  • BLUE RARE – Cool, blue, all the way through.
  • RARE – Warm center, bright red throughout.
  • MEDIUM RARE – Warm center, with a strip of red.
  • MEDIUM – Warm, pink center.
  • MEDIUM WELL – Hot, small trace of pink in the center.
  • WELL DONE – Hot, fully cooked throughout.
  • CHICAGO – charred Outside, cooked to order inside.


Steak Entrées

All our steak entrée dishes served with fresh veggie medley and choice of potato. In lieu of potato, Ceaser salad, tossed salad or rice pilaf can be substituted.

New Yorker
Our Prime cut Certified Angus 10 oz Strip loin cooked to perfection.

Classic Rib Eye
Our 10 oz Certified Angus Rib eye steak, well marbled and juicy. Edward recommends it cooked medium or under.

T-Bone Steak
Got a bit of an appetite? Give our 16 oz Certified Angus T-Bone steak a try.

Porterhouse
A 22 oz Certified Angus porterhouse steak cooked to perfection. What’s a porterhouse? Basically a T-bone with a fair chunk of the tenderloin (best part of the steak). Also called the “Sweet Spot.”

Filet Migno
Our 10 oz Certified Angus tenderloin cooked the way you like. Probably the most tender steak you can get. Please allow at least 40 minutes for a well done filet.

Prime Rib
Our slow oven roasted 10 oz Certified Angus Prime rib. Served with a plump Yorkshire pudding and drenched with rich beefy jus.

Coyote’s Signature Steak Sizzler
This will definitely give you something to talk about. Your choice of our Certified Angus Rib Eye or New York Strip loin cooked the way you like and served on a hot sizzle platter.

Your choice of three sauces drizzled over the steak searing all the flavour and juices making it a truly talked about experience.

New York Steak Oscar
Our 10 oz strip topped with prawns, scallops and baby shrimp in a garlic white wine basil sauce.

Our 10 oz strip served with a 6 oz lobster tail.

Steak & King Crab
Our 10 oz strip with a half pound of Alaskan King Crab.

Steak & Prawns
Our 10 oz strip served with a boat of our fresh garlic prawns.

Great Slave Pickerel
From our own backyard, floured dipped, lightly seasoned and pan-fried lightly so that you can enjoy the full flavor of one the North’s most tastiest fish. Choice of regular or Cajun seasoning.

Salmon Oscar
Fresh steamed filet of salmon topped with prawns, scallops and baby shrimp in a creamy basil sauce.

Lobster Tail Dinner
A fresh juicy 6 oz lobster tail broiled to perfection with drawn garlic butter to dip.

Steamed King Crab
One full pound of our succulent Alaskan King Crab. Served with drawn garlic butter.

Whole Lobster Dinner
A pound and a half – two pound live Lobster. Steamed and served with fresh drawn garlic butter. Fresh from the Maritimes. Please ask your server for current price.

Jumbo Prawn Dinner
Our special jumbo prawns sautéed with fresh peppers, and tomatoes and green onions in a garlic butter and wine reduction.


Entrées

Stuffed Chicken Breast
A whole tender and juicy chicken breast stuffed with our own Sun-dried tomato, cream cheese and fresh spinach blend. Baked golden brown and served over a bed of rich tomato sauce.

Texas Ribs
A bountiful portion of our tasty beef short ribs. Only for the big appetites. Brushed with our special honey garlic Barbeque sauce. Dig in!!!

Rack of Ribs
A full rack of our tender pork back ribs. The Biggest Rack you’ll see in Yellowknife!! Braised and then smothered in our special honey garlic barbeque sauce.

Chicken Oscar
Our 7 oz natural Prime chicken breast steamed and topped with prawns, scallops and baby shrimp cooked in a garlic white wine creamy basil sauce.

Teriyaki Chicken
Our 7 oz natural Prime chicken breast steamed and brushed with our citrus teriyaki glaze.

All our pastas are served with fresh bread.

Coyote's Seafood Pasta
Our fresh fettuccine noodles cooked with a medley of baby shrimp, jumbo prawn and scallops. Topped with a freshly grilled salmon filet and mussels. Choice of garlic white wine cream sauce or fresh marinara sauce. Served with garlic toast.

Steakhouse Spaghetti and Meatballs
Fresh spaghetti noodles and jumbo meatballs smothered with Ed’s own specialty meat sauce, topped with fresh parmesan cheese. Served with garlic toast.

Coyote’s Chicken Alfredo
Fresh fettuccine noodles cooked in our classic Alfredo sauce and topped with a freshly charbroiled 7 oz natural Prime chicken breast. Served with garlic toast.
